Alumni Connections
One is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and another is Director of the Max Planck Institute of Chemical Ecology. Others have gone to Medical School, Veterinary School, or Law School. Many have pursued careers in environmental policy, natural resource management, or environmental engineering. Some have become writers, artists, photographers, filmmakers, foresters, farmers, educators, and business entrepreneurs.
Bio FSP students have had unusually high success in completing Honors Theses and publishing their undergraduate research in the primary scientific literature. Partial listing of publications.
Bio FSP students have received many prestigious awards including Fulbright Fellowships, DAAD Fellowships, National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships (NSF GRFP), National Science Foundation IGERT Fellowships, and Truman Fellowships.
